A processing company located in the Khlevensky district of the Lipetsk region has begun supplying beef to the Middle Kingdom. This spring, the MEAT producer entered into an agreement to supply frozen beef products to CHINA .

At the first stage, the parties agreed to supply more than 40 items to the Asian country. In July, a trial batch was delivered to China.

This year the Lipetsk company plans to establish daily deliveries of up to 55 tons per day and send 20 thousand tons of meat products abroad. Let us remind you that until July 2023, only two Russian companies supplied beef to China.

“There was practically no EXPORT of livestock products from the region in previous years,” said Alexey Telkov, HEAD of the Department of Agriculture of the Lipetsk Region. “Therefore, the expansion of the export range within the framework of the national project “International Cooperation and Export” is especially significant. Export of agricultural products already ranks 2nd in the foreign trade turnover of the Lipetsk region. We are constantly working to increase it."

According to operational data, exports of Lipetsk agricultural products for 8 months of this year have already exceeded 1 million tons. This is 54% more than what was exported abroad by the region at the same date last year. The leading positions are retained by the export of oil and fat products and grains.

The national project “International Cooperation and Export”, which includes, among other things, the federal project “Export of Agricultural Products”, started in 2017. Since the beginning of its implementation, exports of Lipetsk agricultural products have increased more than 4 times.
