Crimea prepares to supply meat products to Arab countries

The delegation of the republic participates in the meeting of the Russian-Arab Business Council "Russia - the Arab World: New Opportunities in the New Reality" in the United Arab Emirates.

Crimea is ready to supply halal MEAT products, juices, apples, grains and other goods to the east. The council meeting is being held as part of the large-scale EXPO 2020 exhibition, where a separate panel session is devoted to food security and cooperation in the agricultural sector.

"The session discussed the production of environmentally friendly food," - said the HEAD of the delegation, Deputy Prime Minister of the Crimean government Irina Kiviko. "One of the most important issues at this session was the issue of import substitution programs and food security in the Republic of Crimea."

Recall that Crimean farmers exported products worth 1.2 billion rubles. Plans for the EXPORT of agricultural products this year have been fulfilled by 118%. Andrey Ryumshin also noted that CHINA and Ukraine were the main buyers.

Armenia, Abkhazia, Turkey, Tajikistan, Israel, Serbia, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan purchased products to a lesser extent. Grape wines, spirits and poultry meat became the leading goods.
