In the first quarter, agricultural organizations increased production by 4.2%. Thus, the Kirov region remains the leader among the regions of the Volga Federal District in terms of egg production - 83 from one chicken.

According to this indicator, agricultural organizations of the Kumensky district are leading - 2,561 kg, Urzhumsky - 2,455 kg, Vyatskopolyansky - 2,396 kg, Sunsky - 2,374 kg and Slobodsky - 2,312 kg.
