The exhibition "Prodexpo-2023" showed worthy results. This year, an absolute record was set for the number of regional collective expositions, which were presented by 48 constituent entities of the Russian Federation. Compared to 2022, the number of participants increased by 10%. The number of unique visitors increased by almost 40%.

467 foreign companies took part in the exhibition . National expositions were formed by 12 countries - Armenia, Brazil, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, China, Peru, Portugal, the Republic of Belarus, Serbia, Turkey, Sri Lanka, South Ossetia . Distributors and foreign manufacturers introduced the novelties of five continents.

– Despite the sanctions , the Prodexpo exhibition enjoys constant success, foreign participants come every year. A third of them represent countries under sanctions, business is more important for them than politics.
The main trend of this year's exhibition is the growth of Russian participation. At Prodexpo-2023, Russia was represented by 1,565 companies , which demonstrated what exactly they can produce under the sanctions and what success they have achieved. Russian exhibitors familiarized participants and visitors of the exhibition with MEAT, fish and dairy products, cheeses, groceries. In addition, tea, coffee, ice cream, products for a healthy lifestyle, functional nutrition and biotechnology, as well as equipment and services were demonstrated.

Absolutely all sectors of the food market were represented at Prodexpo-2023. The exhibition acquainted professionals with a number of premieres in all sections of the exposition.
Salon “Meat and meat products. Sausages. Bird, egg” presented a variety of chilled, frozen and ready-made products from Russia, Belarus, Brazil, India, China, Serbia. The exposition delighted with traditional products from pork, beef, lamb, rabbit, exotic venison, delicacies, a wide range of poultry products, including turkey and duck.
In the salon "Dairy Products and Cheeses" products for HoReCa and baby food were demonstrated: hard, soft, farm cheeses; butter and spreads; powdered MILK ; yogurt, tan and koumiss; chilled milk snacks.
In the stores "Grocery" and "Canned food. Sauces, ketchups” presented ethnic products (noodles, sauces, spices, seasonings), as well as offers for restaurants and retail. Participants of the Grocery Salon offered cereals, FLOUR, pasta, seasonings, spices, instant breakfasts, as well as freeze-dried vegetables, berries and fruits, broths, portioned instant dishes. In the salon "Canned food. Sauces, ketchups” housed meat, dairy, vegetable and fruit preserves. Salon "Fish and Seafood" offered buyers of retail chains and HoReCa chilled, frozen, canned, dried fish, snacks, caviar, mussels, crabs and other seafood.

Salon “Juices, water. Non-Alcoholic Drinks” showcased products from Russia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Vietnam, Kazakhstan, Korea, Serbia, Turkmenistan, Turkey, and Uzbekistan.
I was pleased with the diversity of the exposition of the salon “Tea. Coffee" : bound, pressed, gift, herbal, berry, fruit, loose tea; black, green, white, oolong, pu-erh; tea blends according to author's recipes, the creation of which was inspired by trends in the healthy lifestyle and proper nutrition industry. Sri Lanka presented the national exposition. For the first time, coffee was demonstrated for the HoReCa segment and retail. Coffee for Turks, coffee machines, ultra-fine grinding, for French press and moka, with different degrees of roasting, ground, as well as chicory, coffee drinks and cocoa were presented.
One of the largest salons - "Confectionery. Bakery products. Snacks. Nuts, dried fruits” presented a range of products for every taste, gift packaging, including for New Year's gifts in 2024 with the symbol of the eastern calendar - the Dragon, as well as favorite cartoon characters.
A wide selection of wines and spirits from more than 50 countries - traditional regions of winemaking was demonstrated by the Prodexpo Wine salon . At the national level, stands were organized by Armenia and South Ossetia (two stands). The main backbone of the exposition of alcoholic beverages were Russian producers and distributors. Within the framework of the salon, a traditional corner was organized with a cycle of master classes “Wine from Russia.
The salon “Beer. Weak alcohol” , which was decorated with the corner “Craft beer”.
The Craft Beer Corner united craft breweries, meaderies and cider houses specializing in the production of traditional cider and demonstrated the latest varieties of author's beer and cider.

The business program of the Prodexpo-2023 exhibition touched upon topical topics: the quality and safety of food and beverages, organic products, environmental friendliness and packaging.
On the first day, several important events were held by Roskachestvo and Expocentre.
The business program was opened by a panel discussion “Development of sales of Russian organic products: internal and external demand”.
Among the participants of the discussion: representatives of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, the Department of Agro-Industrial Policy of the EEC, relevant departments and retailers, the Federation of Restaurateurs and Hoteliers of Russia, the Russian Agricultural Bank, the Organica Fund, as well as manufacturers of organic products.
According to the speakers, despite the difficult economic conditions, the organic market is developing at an active pace. As part of the discussion, they discussed a wide range of issues: the image of an organic consumer, support measures for the development of the organic market, EXPORT of organic products, and others.
A landmark event was the plenary session “Key Changes in the Russian Food Market. Market analytics, development directions, support measures for Russian manufacturers”. The event was supported by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, the Russian Export Center and key industry associations.

Yes!" was held with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, Rosstandart and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation. The speakers discussed effective management tools used to maintain the stable functioning of Russian manufacturers in times of crisis, as well as issues of improving work efficiency through the application of the competition model for the Russian Government in the field of quality. Experts shared their best practices and achievements in business excellence.
Two more important events dedicated to organic products took place. At the conference “Organic in Russia: Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow”, organized by Tatyana Lebedeva and Lukbio Media, they talked about the history of the organic movement in Russia, the problem of public control over organic certification and ways to solve it, and the latest amendments to the law on organic matter and other topics.
Participants of the round table "Promotion of organic ideas in society: what works and what doesn't" shared their experience in promoting organic ideas . Organizers Tatyana Lebedeva and the Organica Foundation. The experts presented the results of the foundation's educational project in schools, talked about tools for promoting organic products at annual expositions, exhibitions, atlas, social advertising, as well as communication practices. Ilya Zubkov , Director of the Department of Regional Development of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, drew attention to the need for competent promotion of local brands. One of the topics of discussion was the selling ability of SRP packaging (Shelf Ready Packaging), which performs the transport function and the function of laying out on the shelf. The 18th All-Russian Conference on the problems of the ALCOHOL market "AlcoCongress-2023" was devoted to the alcohol theme. Organizers: Alcoexpert Analytical Group and Expocentre JSC.
The main topic of discussion was "Import and its replacement with domestic products." Expocentre, in partnership with the Union of Food Ingredients Producers (SPPI) and JSC ROSTEST, organized a specialized workshop “Food products: mandatory requirements, release into circulation and promotion tools on the food market.
