Pork took second place with a volume of 17,500 tons, an increase of almost 9%. The regional Minister of Agriculture , Ilya Sumarokov, noted that these successes are due to the technological modernization of poultry farms, the implementation of investment projects, and state support for agricultural producers. According to Sumarokov, thanks to the support of Governor Igor Kobzev, the region's leading enterprises have achieved world-class production efficiency standards, providing the population with high-quality MEAT products. According to preliminary forecasts, by the end of the year, including production from private farms, poultry and pork production could increase by almost 2%, reaching approximately 61,600 tons and 41,500 tons, respectively.
