Despite a slight decline in shipments compared to August (down 11.3 million) and July (down 12.4 million), total exports for the first nine months amounted to $70 million. RUSSIA remains China's fifth-largest pork supplier, approaching the Netherlands (11.9 million).

Russian pork first appeared on the Chinese market in April 2024 , with total exports for that year amounting to $53.6 million. In 2025, Russian pig farmers expect to increase exports to 80,000 tons, compared to 43,000 tons recorded in the first half of the year. Three companies currently have EXPORT approvals: Miratorg, Tambovsky Bacon, and Velikiye Luki Meat-Processing Plant, while seven others are awaiting approval to export to CHINA .
