Pork exports from Spain fell

Between January and March this year, Spain exported a total of 382,191 tons of pork and semi-finished pork products, down 7.4% compared to the same period last year, when 412,822 tons were exported.

Exports to CHINA , the leading destination, showed a slight increase of 1% year-on-year (166,264 tons vs. 164,549 tons). Exports to Japan increased by 19%, from 50,791 tons to 60,195 tons). On the other hand, shipments to the Philippines and SOUTH KOREA fell by 24% and 26% respectively.
