According to the Agroexport center subordinate to the Ministry of Agriculture, the EXPORT of agricultural products from RUSSIA amounted to almost $15.6 billion by July 11, which is 18% higher than the figure for the same period in 2020. In general, by the end of 2021, the Ministry of Agriculture expects that the supply of agricultural products to foreign markets will amount to about $30 billion. Last year, exports reached $30.7 billion.

According to Agroexport, grain supplies increased by 20% to $4.4 billion, oil and fat products - by 39% to $3.6 billion, MEAT and dairy products - by 25% to $703 million. the export of fish and seafood increased to $2.6 billion, by 5% - the supply of food and processing industry products, the volume of which amounted to $2.1 billion.

The main importers are CHINA and the EU with a share of 12.3% each, Turkey (11.6%), SOUTH KOREA (7.5%), Kazakhstan (6.2%), Egypt (5%), Belarus (4.2 %), Ukraine (2.7%), Uzbekistan (2.2%) and Azerbaijan (1.9%). Russian deliveries to the EU grew by 33% yoy, while to China, on the contrary, they decreased by 4%. Exports of agricultural products to Turkey increased by 12%, to South Korea - by 51%, to Kazakhstan - by 18%.

Russia became the largest supplier of meat products to the Vietnamese market in the first half of 2021. Since the beginning of the year, Vietnam has imported more than 70 thousand tons of pork and pork by-products. Russian supplies accounted for more than half of this volume: from January to June, our country sent 45.75 thousand tons of pork to Vietnam for a total of $97.49 million. This is 493.2% more than in the first half of 2020 in kind in terms and by 437.5% in monetary terms.

Russia is also increasing the export of turkey. Its main buyers are China, Ukraine, Benin, Liberia, Congo and the United Arab Emirates. In physical terms, shipments of turkey meat to these countries account for almost 75% of total exports.

In early June, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said at a cabinet meeting that foreign demand for Russian food is growing, and the geography of supplies is changing, so the government plans to simplify the registration of exports of agricultural products. According to Mishustin, the export of meat and dairy products over the past year increased by more than a third. “Abroad willingly buy our dairy products and semi-finished products, pork, poultry meat and much more,” he noted.
