Cherkizovo Group became a partner of the UNITY Foundation

The UNITY Foundation has been providing psychological support to cancer patients since 2017. The online school for the quality of life is one of the key programs of the foundation, within the framework of which people from different regions of RUSSIA who are faced with oncological diseases regularly attend classes with a psychologist, art therapy, meditation practices, special permitted physical classes, dance, write books and study foreign languages. All programs are coordinated with oncologists and are free for patients.

Last year, Cherkizovo Group already supported the Sputnik art project for children with cancer. For a year, children in hospitals across Russia drew their dreams with cosmonaut Sergei Kud-Sverchkov and psychologists, after which the children's drawings were printed on metal plates and fixed on a satellite that was launched in October 2022. As a result, 20 young artists were able to watch their dreams take off into space.

“Such actions allow children to understand that even the most seemingly impossible things and dreams can come true. This gives them additional strength to cope with serious illnesses, to believe in the best, ”says Sergey Kud-Sverchkov , ambassador and volunteer of the UNITY Foundation , Roscosmos cosmonaut.

Cherkizovo Group intends to support financially and informationally, as well as through corporate volunteering programs, a number of projects and initiatives of the foundation. The next project will be a trip of the foundation to Yaroslavl, where it is planned to conduct art therapy for children undergoing treatment in local clinics.
