The Head of Kalmykia supports the development of sheep farming in the region: meetings with Dieta+ LLC and plans for the future

The company is actively involved in MEAT imports and occupies one of the leading positions among suppliers of meat products in RUSSIA. At the moment, it is registered in Kalmykia and has created 40 new jobs.

During the discussion, Khasikov emphasized the importance of the strategy for developing sheep farming in the region and the market potential of Kalmyk lamb, as well as the need to create transparent conditions for agribusiness. He also noted that during the previous strategic session in Yashkul, he familiarized himself with the work of this enterprise.

Following the meeting, the HEAD of the region wished good luck to all livestock breeders in the upcoming breeding campaign and instructed the Ministry of Agriculture of Kalmykia to increase state support measures for sheep breeders. Timur Gavaev, head of the regional Ministry of Agriculture, added that the meat market in the republic is segmented, and lamb occupies a leading position due to its outstanding taste qualities, known even outside the region.

Gavaev noted that the animals graze on natural meadows where more than 200 types of grass grow, which helps improve the nutritional value of meat. This year, according to Batu Khasikov's instructions, it is planned to increase subsidies for sheep breeders. "We wish our livestock breeders successful work and good results in their difficult work," he added.
