In RUSSIA, they propose to ban the destruction of food that was confiscated or withdrawn from circulation, but found to be suitable. A group of deputies has developed an appropriate bill and intends to submit it to the State Duma in the near future.

According to the authors of the initiative, tens of thousands of tons of food are destroyed every year in the country, which causes serious social tension among citizens. In this regard, the deputies intend to change this practice. In particular, if during the examination the confiscated products are found fit for consumption, the parliamentarians propose to send them to state and municipal needs.

Annual inflation in Russia accelerated to 8.64%

“For example, a poacher illegally caught fish or got red caviar. Or livestock products were confiscated from the farmer, as they were sold without documents. If it is recognized as safe to use, why destroy it? "- says the HEAD of the labor committee Yaroslav Nilov. In his opinion, Rospotrebnadzor or ROSSELKHOZNADZOR, depending on the category of goods, can check the quality of confiscated goods.
