The Cherkizovo group will publish semi-annual financial and operating reports, the Rusagro group does not change the plan for such publications, RIA Novosti was told in the companies.

“The Cherkizovo Group has decided to switch to semi-annual reporting, both financial and operational,” RIA Novosti was told in the press service of one of the largest producers of MEAT and meat products in the Russian Federation. Prior to this, operating figures were published monthly, financial - quarterly.

In turn, the Rusagro group, one of the largest Russian agricultural holdings, does not plan to change the frequency of publication of financial statements and operating results, as well as the procedure and language for holding telephone conferences for investors. “Not yet, everything is according to the standard plan,” the company told RIA Novosti. Rusagro publishes its operating and financial results on a quarterly basis.

Cherkizovo Group is one of the three leaders in the markets of chicken meat, pork, meat products, and is the largest producer of animal feed in the Russian Federation. The main shareholder is the family of the founder of Cherkizovo Igor Babaev; Spanish Grupo Fuertes owns 8% of the company, free float is about 2.4%.

The Rusagro Group is one of the five leading Russian pork producers, and it is also one of the largest producers of SUGAR and fat and oil products. About 49% of the company's shares belong to the family of Vadim Moshkovich. Other major shareholders are businessman Maxim Vorobyov (10% of shares) and former CEO Maxim Basov (7.6%). Free float is about 26.2%.
