For the first time in a long time, ROSSELKHOZNADZOR allowed the supply of Mongolian MEAT
The DIRECTOR of the flagship of the Buryat meat processing Alamzhi Syrenov spoke about the main sources of raw materials for the legendary Buryat stew and other meat products of the plant.
- We signed a contract, agreed with Rosselkhoz on the supply of meat from Mongolia. During the negotiations, we managed to convince that we need this meat for processing. We signed a contract for 1200 tons. We recently received the first 20 tons. And, I think, in the near future we will bring deliveries to 300 tons. And then we will conclude new contracts for the autumn-winter period, - he said.
Syrenov noted that Mongolian meat has good taste and a high content of amino acids, since it is grown by pasture cattle breeding, and not by stall farming, which is more common in RUSSIA.
But the main volume of raw materials, twice as much as it is planned to be supplied from Mongolia, the plant still receives from the local population.
- A few years ago, Buryatmyasprom processed only 500 tons of local meat per year. In 2017, almost 90 percent of the meat he processed was imported. They began to figure out why ours, Buryat, is not taken? It turned out that there were not enough slaughterhouses and veterinary certificates. Meat from producers does not reach the conveyor of the plant. As a result, we agreed, placed a veterinary station right at Buryatmyasprom, where the veterinarian checks the meat on the spot. Also, representatives of the plant began to travel around the regions, collect meat, take it in half carcasses. As a result, in 2021 Buryatmyasprom has already purchased more than 2 thousand tons of local raw materials, and over 30 percent of the company's products are made from local meat. Now another question is ripe - how to grow so much meat to cover all the needs of Buryatmyasprom, - the HEAD of the region explained.
Alamzhi Syrenov calls this decision successful, since it is much more convenient for the residents of Buryatia to sell meat directly to a large producer.
- We have certified veterinarians, loaders. And the population, having seen its benefits: that everything happens quickly, settlements immediately on the ground, began to actively cooperate with us. Bring what you have grown to our plant. Of course, local raw materials differ in their taste. And this product was in demand. But, unfortunately, our agricultural producers cannot provide us with 100%, - said the director of the BMP.
