Buryatia is ready to supply a thousand heads of cattle to Mongolia this year

The Minister of Agriculture of Buryatia, Galsan Dareev, spoke about this at the forum “Russia-Mongolia. Partnership in a new reality”.

The experience of holding the International Exhibition of Farm Animals in Ulan-Ude demonstrated the high interest of Mongolian colleagues in breeding cattle bred in the republic. Buryatia is interested in cooperation in this area. Already this year, the breeding farms of the republic are ready to supply over 1,000 heads of young Kalmyk breed and 500 heads of Kazakh white-headed cattle to Mongolia,” he said.

In addition, agricultural producers are ready to consider on an individual basis the issue of supplying sports and heavy breeds of horses, seeds of grain crops, as well as hay.

Separately, we are ready to cooperate in the implementation of projects for laying fruit orchards and landscaping territories within the framework of the national environmental movement of Mongolia "Billion Trees". Nurseries of Buryatia have experience in supplying seedlings of fruit and berry crops with subsequent training of Mongolian specialists in this field, - said Galsan Dareev.
