Azerbaijan in 2022 is one of the active importers of large and small cattle from RUSSIA.

According to Interfax-Azerbaijan, according to the ROSSELKHOZNADZOR , since the beginning of 2022, more than 114.7 thousand heads of pigs (48.3% of the total), large (10.9%) and small (40.8%) have been shipped from the Russian Federation ) cattle.

Almost 13 thousand HEAD of live small cattle were shipped to Azerbaijan.

In addition, since the beginning of 2022, the livestock breeders of Azerbaijan have significantly increased the import of cattle from the Russian Federation (almost 1.5 thousand heads).
