The increase was due to an increase in indicators in the area of agrotrading, a record gross harvest and an increase in the volume of sales of own crops , an increase in the volume of MILK production as a result of an increase in the number of forage livestock and an increase in milk yield per 1 cow.

Sales volume in the agricultural trading segment at the end of 2023 reached 2.8 million tons (+62.3% year-on-year). One of the key growth drivers was an increase in EXPORT sales. The STEPPE agricultural holding shipped more than 600 thousand tons of niche crops in 2023 and maintains its leading position in pea exports.

The production indicators of the dairy division show record results.

Gross milk yield at the end of 2023 amounted to about 180 thousand tons (+20.4% year-on-year). In 2023, the farms of the Steppe Agroholding confirmed their leadership in terms of milk yield per cow and took first place among dairy farms in the Russian Federation. The gross harvest of agricultural crops at the end of last year amounted to more than 2.1 million tons, which is 7.9% higher than last year’s harvest.
