Agroholding Russkoye Pole launched the first three poultry houses for the production and processing of poultry MEAT in the Pavlovsky district of the Nizhny Novgorod region with the involvement of farms, the government of the region reported. In total, by 2025, it is planned to build 42 poultry houses, as well as reconstruct the feed mill and modernize the equipment at the poultry farm.

Investments in three sites amounted to 168 million rubles. - these are funds from a subsidized loan under the regional program, the Agroprogress grant, as well as the company's own funds. The total cost of the project is estimated at 4.5 billion rubles. Now Russkoe Pole is leasing poultry houses to farmers, and in the future they will be able to buy them from the company.

Deputy Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Andrey Sanosyan, during his visit to the enterprise, noted the importance of uniting the work of a large agricultural holding and farmers. “The agricultural holding provides our farmers with comprehensive support: it prepares workshops for the settlement of poultry, supplies chickens for rearing, supplies feed, advises on production, legal and financial issues,” he said (quote from a message on the website of the regional government). “Farmers, in turn, grow poultry with the confidence that their partner, Pavlovskaya Poultry Farm, which is part of the holding, will ensure the processing and marketing of their products.”

According to the rating of the National Union of Poultry Breeders, according to the results of last year, Russkoye Pole Managing Company produced 47 thousand tons of broiler meat and took 23rd place in the top 25 largest producers.

The plans of "Russian Field" to implement the first major project in RUSSIA in the field of contract farming in the field of poultry became known in May last year. It was assumed that as a result, about 20 new farms would appear in the region, which would work according to international standards and in compliance with tax laws. Then the investor expected to launch the first eight poultry houses in 2021.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, last year the region produced 76.5 thousand tons of poultry meat, which is 4% more than a year earlier. Thanks to the project, which is being implemented by Russkoye Pole together with farmers, poultry meat production should increase by 22 thousand tons. This will allow the region to increase the level of self-sufficiency in poultry meat by 17 percentage points. up to 70%.
