As reported by the company, the Agropromkomplektatsiya group of companies (GC) has developed and implemented its own supply management system when working with the largest federal retail chains.

In particular, the company has fully automated the process of ordering its products from X5 Group (Pyaterochka, Perekrestok, Chizhik stores), Tander JSC (Magnit), Lenta, Auchan and other retailers. Thanks to the system, the company has already supplied 112 thousand tons of products (brands “Near Gorki” and “Sincerely Vash”) to 22 regions of the Russian Federation, processing 1.16 million customer orders in 2023.

“A new approach to supply management allows us to increase the accuracy of data on demanded volumes of products by up to 80% and ensure timely transfer of them to production, eliminating the human factor,” comments Evgeniy Tsivilev, it business partner of Agropromkomplektatsiya Group of Companies for trade and logistics. — Our project can be scaled up in the Russian agro-industrial complex. We are ready to share our experience in product supply management with other market players.

As the company explained, while people were responsible for supply planning, the inevitable percentage of errors and errors in manual accounting remained, which leads to losses of millions of rubles every month. The project made it possible to systematize deliveries from the company’s enterprises in the Tver, Kursk and Ryazan regions to the distribution centers of retailers throughout the country, while eliminating errors and reducing the time required for data preparation by 6 times.

Planning and forecasting of customer orders helped to load production facilities more efficiently, and the supply of fresh products became uninterrupted. It also helped reduce the number of employees involved in product deliveries and transfer them to other tasks, which reduced salary costs by 50%.
