"Agrocomplex them. N.I. Tkachev, one of the largest agricultural holdings in RUSSIA, announced a shortage of workers at poultry enterprises and expressed its readiness to issue patents to migrants and provide them with housing.

Marina Irkhina, Deputy General DIRECTOR for Human Resources of the company, announced this at a meeting with the HEAD of the National Union of Poultry Breeders Sergey Lakhtyukhov, the press service of the holding reports.

According to her, despite the fact that so far the shortage of loaders, operators, technical specialists does not affect the productivity of poultry farms, the shortage of personnel is primarily reflected in the increase in the load on the remaining workers and, as a result, in the increase in the percentage of processing.

“We especially felt the shortage of workers during the peak season. And here the situation could be normalized by the arrival of additional foreign labor, so we are looking forward to the opening of land communication with the CIS countries. The company is ready to issue a patent for labor migrants to work specifically in our company and provide a place to live. The procedure for attracting labor migrants and issuing patents can be targeted,” Irkhina said.

Lakhtyukhov drew the attention of the holding's representative that "we must not allow small businesses and farmers to leave the market as a result of rising prices."

“Such a prospect threatens with the opening of imports, and the removal of import customs duties for foreign competitors, and a significant decrease in domestic production. “At the same time, we are waiting for confirmation of constructive work from retail chains,” the press service quoted Lakhtyukhov as saying.

"Agrocomplex" belongs to the family of the former Minister of Agriculture of Russia Alexander Tkachev. A full cycle agricultural holding unites 29 agricultural enterprises. The list of activities includes animal husbandry, crop production, processing of agricultural products, food production, retail trade and others. Own trading network exceeds 650 retail stores in the Southern and North Caucasian federal districts.

The company is one of the largest owners of agricultural land in Russia. As of the end of 2020, its land bank was 665 thousand hectares, including 635 thousand hectares of cultivated agricultural land.
