The service "Veterinary certificate request" will work in the information system "One window". This is assumed by the draft government decree, the document was developed by the Ministry of Agriculture and posted on the portal. The initiator of the project is ROSSELKHOZNADZOR.
The new service "optimizes the costs of participants in foreign economic activity when exporting goods subject to veterinary control," the Ministry of Agriculture believes. The One Stop Shop system was created on the My EXPORT digital platform of the Russian Export Center to make it easier for suppliers to access government services that are necessary for a company to enter foreign markets.
The project proposes to integrate the One Window platform with the VetIS system of the Rosselkhoznadzor in the field of veterinary medicine. For this, the operator of the "One Window" system - the Russian Export Center - is planned to be included in the number of subjects of the FSIS "VetIS".
“The status of the subject of FSIS VetIS will allow Russian Export Center JSC, through the use of the One Window IS infrastructure, to receive and transmit electronically the information necessary for the exporter to issue an export veterinary certificate,” the explanation to the project says.
Now Russian exporters provide information on the conduct of veterinary and sanitary examinations and laboratory tests of controlled goods to the information system "Mercury" - a component of the FSIS "VetIS".
The agricultural insurance market in the Russian Federation grew in 2020 by 43% to 8.1 billion rubles
The Mercury system ensures the traceability of livestock products from producer to consumer. It contains information about all products of animal origin that are produced, moved and sold on the territory of RUSSIA. MEAT and fish products, honey, as well as all dairy products are subject to electronic veterinary certification. In the first nine months of last year, Russian agricultural exports almost caught up with imports and reached $20 billion in monetary terms. Of the livestock products, poultry and pork have become the main drivers of growth in supplies abroad.
