Agrofirm "Dmitrova Gora" received a batch of breeding pigs from Germany

The press center of the group of companies "Agropromkomplektatsiya" reports that the specialists of the department of pig breeding and fodder production are working to strengthen the genetic fund of breeding complexes. 

One of the key divisions of the holding, Agrofirma Dmitrova Gora JSC in the Konakovo district of the Tver region, which has the status of a breeding reproducer for Landrace, Yorkshire and Large White breeds, has concluded an agreement for the supply of breeding animals with the German representative office of SUISSEPIGS Genetics.

This week, 260 heads of young pigs of the Large White and Landrace breeds of French Axiom genetics with breeding certificates were delivered to the quarantine site of the Nucleus pig breeding complex.

Animals have passed veterinary control. They safely endured the road, are healthy and meet all the requirements of ROSSELKHOZNADZOR .

Oksana Volkova, Chief Livestock Breeder of the Department of Pig Breeding and Feed Production of the Agropromkomplektatsiya group of companies, said that a batch of breeding pigs from Germany is intended to form replacement stock for 20 commercial farms of the holding in the Tver and Kursk regions.
