September 21, Gomel. A resident of the Svetlogorsk district kept an arsenal of prohibited items, BelTA learned from the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Gomel regional executive committee.

Drug control operatives checked the operational data on the possible involvement of a non-working 32-year-old resident of the agricultural town of Zagorye in the cultivation of hemp. As it turned out, the villager used marijuana himself, and therefore he approached the cultivation of cannabis with all responsibility. "I planted overseas seeds in separate pots, indicated varieties and planting dates. I took care of the composition of the earth and the necessary fertilizers, and also kept records of soil acidity. I bought a so-called grow box for full-fledged cultivation. There I equipped lighting, ventilation, heating, and supplied the entire system with a timer ", - said in the Department of Internal Affairs.

Law enforcement officers seized five pots with narcotic plants, all equipment and fertilizers, 14 different bags of hemp seeds, two smoking devices, a glass jar with crushed plant matter. A light and sound pistol and cartridges were also found in the house.

Also, a moonshine still was found in the outbuilding, almost 13 liters of moonshine and 20 liters of mash. In addition, 16 plastic canisters with colored diesel fuel with a total volume of 280 liters were found in the villager's possession.

A criminal case has been initiated. Arsenal sent for examination. Handicraft alcoholic products, apparatus for its production and diesel fuel were confiscated. The administrative process has begun. Previously unconvicted defendant arrested.
