A resident of the Mostovsky district shot a friend during a feast

March 14, Grodno. In the Mostovsky district, a man shot at a friend during a feast. Inna Poznyak, official representative of USC for the Grodno region, informed BelTA about this.

The incident happened in the early morning of March 11th. After spending time in one of the establishments in the city of Skidel, two men arrived at the house of a 36-year-old resident of the Mostovsky district, where they planned to continue drinking ALCOHOL . During the feast, a quarrel arose between the men, the owner of the house took a gun and shot his 31-year-old comrade, a resident of Skidel, in the inguinal region. After the incident, he called an ambulance and tried to provide first aid on his own. At the same time, the friends decided not to reveal the real version of what happened and agreed to lie that the victim himself stumbled upon something sharp.

On arrival at the scene, doctors ascertained a gunshot wound and reported the fact to law enforcement officers. Initially, the man adhered to the agreed version, but the very next day he said that the shot was accidental. After that, he refused to testify. At the time of the crime, a resident of the Mostovsky district was in a state of intoxication .

The wounded man was hospitalized, his condition is assessed as serious. A criminal case was opened for attempted murder, a resident of the Mostovsky district was taken into custody. The Investigative Committee also has to find out the origin of the gun with which the attempt was made, since the weapon is not registered. By the way, none of the men has a permit to keep weapons.
