December 28, MINSK. A resident of the Ivye district tried to illegally import more than 2.2 thousand liters of ALCOHOL into Belarus, BelTA learned from the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Operatives of the OBEP of the Leninsky District Department of Internal Affairs of Grodno received information that a 26-year-old resident of the Ivye district is going to illegally import an alcohol-containing liquid from RUSSIA for further sale. The young man has repeatedly come to the attention of law enforcement officers for the distribution of counterfeit alcohol. This time, the entire procurement procedure took place under the control of policemen. The Belarusian ordered a batch of over 2.2 thousand liters from a Russian company. After the delivery of the goods to the customer, operatives immediately came to him.

An administrative protocol has been drawn up against the man. Alcohol worth more than Br45,000 was confiscated.
