March 4, Brest. The Drogichinsky district prosecutor's office sent a criminal case to COURT against the 47-year-old driver. He is abledrunk , hit a child and fled the scene of the accident, BELTA reports with reference to the information service of the Brest Region Prosecutor's Office.

On the evening of September 2, a drunk man got behind the wheel. In the village of Volovel, he hit an 11-year-old girl walking along the side of the road. As a result of the accident, the child was seriously injured. The driver fled the scene.

“After studying the case materials, the prosecutor’s office of the Drogichinsky district came to the conclusion about the validity of the accusation, the sufficiency of the collected evidence, a complete and objective study of the circumstances of the crimes. They agreed with the qualification of the offense under Part 4 of Article 317 and Part 3 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code,” - told the prosecutor's office of the Brest region. The driver remains in custody.
