For the first time, the Vitebsk city executive committee organizes the sale of sites for rent for the New Year's trade

September 12, Vitebsk. For the first time, the Vitebsk city executive committee organizes the sale of sites for rent for the placement of non-stationary trade facilities of a certain format for the New Year holidays, BelTA learned from the property department of the city executive committee's economy department.

The right to conclude lease agreements for 10 plots of urban territory on Victory Square is put up for auction, where the main city tree is installed and the main New Year's mass events are held, recreation areas are organized. In 2021, New Year's trade on the square was provided by 6 non-stationary objects, which everyone could rent on a declarative basis. Taking into account the experience of the previous season, it was decided to determine the tenants of the sites using a competitive procedure. The auction is set for September 29th.

Each lot includes an area of ​​6 sq.m, the initial sale price is determined in the amount of Br42.25. The lease agreement with the winners of the auction will be concluded for 3 years, while placing a retail facility on the leased territory can be from December 15 to February 15.

In accordance with the decision of the Vitebsk City Executive Committee, the tenants of the sites are obliged to install non-stationary retail facilities, made according to the approved sketch, taking into account the proposed options for size, type of finish and color schemes. In addition, the city administration has determined the assortment list of goods for sale in the New Year's "houses". It includes bakery and confectionery products, ready-made culinary products, groceries, soft drinks, ice cream, as well as souvenirs and toys. The monthly rent will be 10 basic rental units (1 BAS - Br16.9).

Legal entities and individual entrepreneurs are invited to participate in the auction. Tenants must conclude an agreement that provides for liability for violating the requirements for the appearance and size of a retail facility, for placing additional retail equipment and other accessories outside of it. If it is necessary to use the site for the needs of the city, the tenant is provided with another place agreed with him for trading.
