Eight people were injured in road accidents in the Brest region in a week

March 11, MINSK . Over the past week, seven accidents occurred on the roads of the Brest region, as a result of which eight people received injuries of varying severity. BELTA was informed about this by the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Brest Regional Executive Committee.

Able to drive a carDue to ALCOHOL intoxication, traffic police officers in the southwestern region of the republic detained 23 drivers; another 98 motorists stopped by traffic police inspectors did not have the right to drive a vehicle. 170 drivers were held accountable for failing to give priority to pedestrians.

According to the State Traffic Inspectorate, 465 pedestrians were brought to administrative responsibility for traffic violations, 46 of them were drunk, 142 were moving at night without reflective elements.
