MINSK . A drunk driver was detained on Smolenskaya Street in Minsk, BelTA learned from the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Minsk
City Executive Committee. Employees of the Partizansky District State Traffic Inspectorate stopped a Renault. The driver was a 30-year-old man with obvious signs of intoxication.
ALCOHOL intoxication . The results of the medical examination showed that the driver had -1.9 ppm of alcohol in his body.
The man was detained and taken to the body conducting the administrative process. The car was placed in a guarded parking lot. A notification letter will be sent to the offender's place of work.
State traffic inspectors reminded: the penalty for drunk driving depends on the concentration of alcohol in the blood or its vapor in the exhaled air. If more than 0.8 ppm is detected, a fine of 200 basic units is provided with deprivation of the right to engage in certain activities for five years.
