January 25, Brest. A drunk foreign driver was detained in Baranovichi, BELTA reports citing the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Within a year, a 38-year-old foreigner had already been brought to administrative responsibility for drunk driving. Then he was deprived of his driver's license and expelled from Belarus.

Now, criminal cases have been opened against the man for violating the ban on entry into the country and driving while intoxicated again within a year. The car, which belongs to a friend of the defendant, is subject to confiscation. The car was placed in an impound lot, and the offender was placed in a temporary detention facility.
