In the Stolin region, with the sanction of the prosecutor, the culprit of the fatal accident was taken into custody, in which a young woman and her one-year-old son were killed, and a young daughter was seriously injured, BelTA was told by the information service of the prosecutor's office of the Brest region.

As reported, the tragedy occurred on November 27 at about 23.30 on the 57th km of the P88 Zhitkovichi - David-Haradok - Ukrainian border road. According to the case file, a drunk 23-year-old local resident driving an Audi lost control, drove into the oncoming lane and collided with a Ford car driven by a 28-year-old driver. As a result of the incident, the wife of the driver of the oncoming vehicle, as well as their one-year-old son, who was in the front seat of the car without a restraint device, died from their injuries in a HEALTH care facility. The three-year-old daughter, who was in the back seat without a restraint, suffered serious injuries.

The culprit of the accident was charged with violating traffic rules in the stateALCOHOL intoxication , which caused the death of two people through negligence .
