In the Vitebsk region, more than 400 pedestrians received fines for violations over the weekend

October 23, Vitebsk . More than 400 pedestrians in the Vitebsk region received fines for traffic violations over the past weekend. A BELTA correspondent was informed about this by the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee.

In total, 37 accidents with property damage were registered on the roads of the northern region, 22 of them occurred in Vitebsk. In addition, traffic police officers detained 11 drunk drivers and 28 people who got behind the wheel without a license to drive a vehicle.

Over 400 pedestrians violated traffic rules and were brought to administrative responsibility for this. Moreover, 45 of them were ableALCOHOL intoxication , and 147 people moved without flickers at night.

The region's traffic inspectorate advises drivers to choose a safe speed and distance from cars in front when driving, and take into account weather and road conditions. Participants on foot must be extremely careful and remember to use reflective elements.
