February 4, MINSK. The Oshmyany regional department of the Investigative Committee is investigating a criminal case on the murder of a notorious elderly man with particular cruelty. This was reported to BelTA in the department of information and public relations of the UK.
On the night of February 2, law enforcement agencies received a message about the discovery of the body of an 81-year-old man with no signs of life in the village of Biyutishki, Oshmyany district. it was preliminary established that on the evening of February 1, a conflict arose between the deceased and his 52-year-old son, during which the suspect beat his father, inflicting at least 30 blows on him. The pensioner died at the scene from his injuries.
The investigator, with the participation of specialists from the UGKSE in the Grodno region, examined the scene of the incident, recorded a trace picture, assigned a number of expert studies on the seized objects and objects, interrogated the accused and witnesses.
It was established that at the time of the commission of unlawful acts, the man was in a state of intoxication . Previously, he was repeatedly brought to criminal responsibility, including for causing grievous bodily harm.
The actions of a 52-year-old man are qualified under paragraphs 2 and 6 of Part 2 of Article 139 (murder of an obviously elderly man, committed with particular cruelty) of the Criminal Code. A measure of restraint in the form of detention was applied to him.
