Drunk driver detained in Minsk for attempting to bribe

According to the department, traffic police officers of the Frunzensky District Department of Internal Affairs of the capital stopped a Ford driven by a 60-year-old Minsk resident with obvious signs of intoxication. As a result, a medical examination showed almost 2 ppm of ALCOHOL in the blood.

In order not to draw up a protocol against him, the man offered the inspectors $100. The offender did not respond to repeated warnings about criminal liability and left the banknote in the interior of the official car.

The driver was detained, investigators opened a criminal case for bribery. The car was placed in a guarded parking lot.
