75 accidents occurred in Minsk over the weekend, one person died

September 4, MINSK . Over the past weekend, 75 road accidents occurred in Minsk, three road users were injured and one died, BelTA learned from the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Minsk City Executive Committee.

Over the weekend, city traffic inspectors fined 162 drivers for speeding and detained 11 motorists for driving while intoxicated. 46 cases of driving vehicles by persons without a driver's license and 35 violations of the rules for transporting children were suppressed.

Traffic police inspectors cited 167 drivers for violating the rules for crossing pedestrian crossings, as well as 68 users of personal mobility devices and 43 cyclists who violated traffic rules. Another 64 motorists neglected to wear seat belts.

According to the traffic police, 575 pedestrians violated traffic rules, 22 of them were in a stateALCOHOL intoxication .
