There were 166 accidents in Minsk over the weekend, three people were injured

January 3, MINSK . Over the weekend, 166 accidents occurred in Minsk, three road users were injured. BELTA was informed about this by the Central Internal Affairs Directorate of the Minsk City Executive Committee.

27 drivers were detained for driving while intoxicated. Traffic police officers also stopped 68 cases of driving by unauthorized persons and 25 violations of the rules for transporting children. State traffic inspectors fined 55 drivers for speeding, and cited 199 motorists for violating the rules for crossing pedestrian crossings. Another 54 drivers neglected to wear seat belts.

According to the traffic police, 622 pedestrians violated traffic rules, 65 of them were in a stateALCOHOL intoxication .

The State Traffic Inspectorate calls on road users to respect each other and reminds that strict adherence to traffic rules is the key to safety on the road.
