November 5, MINSK . The Frunzensky District Department of the Investigative Committee (Minsk) is investigating the circumstances of a murder committed by a group of individuals, the Investigative Committee told BelTA.

In October of this year, two brothers, aged 54 and 60, were drinking ALCOHOL at home and listening to loud music, despite the late hour. At one point, one of the men went to bed, and soon a 35-year-old neighbor knocked on the door. He asked for the volume to be turned down and for the noise to be stopped. An argument ensued between him and one of the apartment's residents. The older brother, hearing the screams, came out. Suddenly, he took a knife and stabbed the guest in the neck several times, fatally.

The Minsk resident's mother reported him missing several days later. She explained that she had last seen her son through the peephole in the door as he was heading to a neighbor's house. The investigative team found the missing man's belongings, stained with blood, in a dumpster near the house. In addition, the police noticed surveillance cameras in the entrance hall, which had inexplicably shifted their position. They soon discovered that the men the deceased had gone up to see had left. However, their location was quickly determined. The brothers were detained on suspicion of committing the crime.

The accused did not inform anyone of the incident. A few days later, they decided to dispose of the deceased's body. Wrapping it in a blanket, they carried it out of the apartment and placed it in the trunk of a car. In the forest near their dacha, they dug a hole, moved the victim's body into it, then covered it with cement and buried it. An

investigative team, officers from the forensic department of the Investigative Committee of the City of Minsk, arrived at the designated location, where they recovered the missing man's body from the ground. The Frunzensky District Department of the Investigative Committee of Minsk has opened a criminal case under paragraph 15, Part 2, Article 139 of the Criminal Code (murder committed by a group of persons). The men are currently in custody, and a range of investigative and other procedural measures are underway.

The criminal investigation is ongoing.
