A car thief was detained in the Korelichi district

Last Saturday, July 6, at about ten o'clock in the morning, a 66-year-old resident of the MINSK region arrived in the urban village of Mir on business. Near the house on September 17th Street, I left my car unlocked and with the key in the ignition for a quarter of an hour. At that moment, a 35-year-old resident of the capital was passing by, who noticed the keys and decided to take advantage of the opportunity.

Returning to the parking spot, the owner did not find his car and informed the police.

Law enforcement officers immediately responded to the message, which arrived at 9.43, and introduced the “Interception” plan. Less than an hour and a half later, officers from the Korelichi District Department of Internal Affairs detained the suspect. The vehicle was returned to the applicant in good technical condition.

The attacker did not have time to travel far; he was found two kilometers from the village of Oyutsevichi. At the time of his arrest he was in a stateALCOHOL intoxication .
