OSVOD worker saved a drowning man in Kamenets

August 21, Brest. An OSVOD worker rescued a drowning man on the Lesnaya River in Kamenets, BelTA learned from the Brest Regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations .

The incident occurred on August 20 at about 17.30 on the territory of the city beach. A man born in 1978 went swimming, dived and did not surface. The OSVOD rescue sailor on duty hurried to help. He dived into the water after the vacationer and found him at a depth of about 2 m. Raising the unfortunate swimmer to the surface of the water, the rescuer handed him over to the ambulance team. After examination, the rescued from hospitalization refused.

The regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds that you can swim only in specially designated areas. You can not go into the water in a statedrunkenness , swim behind buoys, leave children unattended. Fishing safety rules must also be followed.
