January 29, Grodno. A drunk driver was detained in Grodno thanks to a call from a concerned resident. BELTA was informed about this by the traffic police department of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Grodno Regional Executive Committee.

According to the department, the incident occurred on the evening of January 26. Thanks to a call from a concerned citizen, a Renault car driven by a 67-year-old man was stopped on Fursenko Street in the regional center. He showed signsALCOHOL intoxication . The man refused to undergo a medical examination and said that before getting behind the wheel, he drank 150 g of vodka, after which he went on business in the car.

The man was removed from driving the vehicle, and the car was taken to the impound lot. An administrative protocol has been drawn up regarding the drunk driver. The man faces a fine of Br8 thousand and deprivation of the right to drive for a period of 5 years.
