May 22, MINSK . In Borisov, a mother for torturing her one and a half year old son was sentenced to 2 years in prison to be served in a general regime colony without a fine, BelTA was told in the press service of the Minsk Regional COURT.

The case was heard in the Borisov district court. it was established that the accused, being in a statedrunk at home in Borisov, tortured her son born in 2022. She hit the child at least 14 times with her hands, feet and a mobile phone in various parts of the body, bit the child’s left hand at least twice, and also threw her to the floor and a chair, pushed her with her hands and feet, causing bodily harm.

In court, the accused fully admitted her guilt.

In addition to the imposed punishment, the court decided to apply a special confiscation in relation to the mobile phone belonging to the accused. She will be subject to compulsory treatment for chronic ALCOHOLISM.

The verdict has not entered into legal force and can be appealed and protested in the manner prescribed by law.
