January 23, MINSK. The action of the Ministry of Emergency Situations "Safety - in every home" will be held in Belarus from January 23 to February 10, BelTA informs with reference to the ministry's website.
The action is organized to prevent fires and deaths from them and includes three stages. On the first one - from January 23 to January 27 - the rescuers will focus on residents of the country who abuse ALCOHOL and lead an asocial lifestyle. The events will take place in drug dispensary day care units, security centres, public law enforcement strongholds and recycling centers. Rescuers, the Red Cross, the Internal Affairs Directorate, the clergy, veterans of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and volunteers will unite their efforts under the motto "A sober look at security".
At the second stage, which will take place from January 30 to February 8, the organizers of the action will shift their attention to the elderly citizens with an active lifestyle, residents of rural areas, students, as well as students in the final grades of schools. During the large-scale event "Skarbonka byaspeki" for young people on the basis of rural houses of culture, there will be a talk show "Dialogue", a game "Musical Battle for Security", a quiz "Where is the logic?", an intellectual game "Brain Ring", as well as a game competition "Detective Agency of the Ministry of Emergency Situations". A lot of interesting things have been prepared for the older generation. Thematic conversations, contests, quests are planned, as well as the work of interactive sites SOS and "Dangers in the apartment", "Safe evacuation" and "Rules of behavior in the crowd", "
The final stage will take place from 9 to 10 February. By tradition, rescuers will set up interactive platforms in places of mass stay of people, and will also prepare a concert program in which BMOOSP activists, amateur art groups and celebrities will take part.
Opportunities to work online through social networks and instant messengers will also be involved: classes, lectures via the Internet, targeted mailing of booklets and secure correspondence, as well as telephone communication in the format "Rescuers are in touch ..." for people with limited contact. In addition, during all stages of the action, the Ministry of Emergency Situations will actively cooperate with the media.
Rescuers recalled the main causes of emergencies in the residential sector. This is still careless handling of fire, violation of the rules for the operation of stove heating and electrical equipment, childish pranks with fire. In most cases, such incidents are the result of human carelessness and neglect of safety rules.
