Minsk . In Minsk, State Traffic Inspectorate officers detained a drunk driver, the State
Traffic Inspectorate of the Main Directorate of Internal Affairs of the Minsk City Executive Committee told BelTA. Traffic inspectors from the Partizansky District Department of Internal Affairs of Minsk stopped a BMW driven by a 38-year-old female driver near house No. 9 on Oleg Koshevoy Street. The driver's physical condition aroused the suspicion of law enforcement. A medical examination revealed 0.52 ppm of
ALCOHOL in her system. The woman was detained and taken to the agency conducting the administrative proceedings, and the car was placed in a guarded parking lot.
The State Traffic Inspectorate reminds that driving a vehicle while intoxicated is a fine.
For alcohol intoxication , the administrative penalty depends on the concentration of alcohol in the blood or its vapor in exhaled air: from 0.3 to 0.8 ppm – 100 basic units with a 3-year driving ban; over 0.8 ppm – 200 basic units with a 5-year driving ban. Repeated violations within one year of the imposition of the administrative penalty are subject to criminal liability.
