Investigative Committee revealed the details of the criminal case of a pedophile in Byalynichi

July 25, MINSK . The Belynichi district department of the Investigative Committee has revealed the details of the investigation of a criminal case on indecent acts of a sexual nature committed with the use of violence. The defendant in the case was a 40-year-old man. BelTA was informed about this by Tatyana Starosotnikova, official representative of the USC in the Mogilev region.

As it became known, in early May, in the district center, a man, being in a state of intoxication, dragged a seven-year-old girl to an abandoned building and committed other acts of a sexual nature against her. The cries of the child were heard by a high school student passing nearby. He rushed to help the child and fought back the rapist. Then the high school student called the police. The man was detained.

The investigation established that on the evening of May 3 and on the morning of May 4, the man, being in a state ofALCOHOL intoxication , committed sexual depravity against several young girls who played on the playground and in the city park. In addition, he is also seen stealing a mobile phone.

Based on the results of the investigation, a 40-year-old man was charged under part 2 of article 169 (lewd acts committed against known minors), part 3 of article 167 (other acts of a sexual nature committed against a known minor) and part 2 of article .205 (repeated theft) CC. With the sanction of the prosecutor, a measure of restraint in the form of detention was applied to him. The attacker has previously been convicted of stealing money from a bank card by a group of people. The man does not work anywhere and abuses alcohol.

Violent acts of a sexual nature against children in our country are classified as especially serious crimes. For their commission in relation to minors, a punishment of up to 15 years in prison is provided.
