Six drunk drivers were detained in the Vitebsk region over the weekend
January 29, MINSK . Over the past weekend, six drunk drivers were detained in the Vitebsk region. These and other statistical results of the BELTA weekend were reported to the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee.
Thus, over the past weekend, 34 road accidents with property damage were registered in the region, 19 of them in Vitebsk. In addition, six drunk drivers, as well as 15 disenfranchised drivers, were detained.
More than 268 pedestrians were brought to administrative responsibility for violating traffic rules. Of these, 26 were in a stateALCOHOL intoxication , 113 - without reflective elements.
The State Traffic Inspectorate of the Vitebsk Region strongly recommends that drivers choose a safe speed and distance to the vehicle in front, be extremely careful while driving, and take into account weather and road conditions. Pedestrians must strictly comply with the requirements of traffic rules and identify themselves as flickers at night.
