The accident happened today at about 08.00 on Shevchenko Boulevard. A 28-year-old Brest resident got drunk behind the wheel of a Shkola taxi car. A medical examination showed 2.2 ppm of ALCOHOL. At a roundabout, the man lost control, ran into a curb, and then rammed the fence.Fortunately, there were no passengers in the taxi at the time of the accident. The driver was not injured. His car is damaged.
“If you see a drunk driver getting behind the wheel or a drunk pedestrian walking along the roadway, call 102 or the nearest traffic police department. Perhaps a drunk person is not aware of his actions and needs your help,” said Alexandra Zakharova.
