Drunk Minsk woman offered traffic police a bribe, criminal case opened

April 21, MINSK . A drunk Minsk resident offered a BRIBE to traffic police officers, a criminal case has been opened, the Interior Ministry told BELTA.

Traffic police officers of the Minsk region stopped an electric car driven by a 55-year-old resident of the capital. The woman's physical condition aroused the inspectors' suspicions.

On the way to a medical facility for examination, the Minsk resident offered to settle the issue for Br200. She did not respond to repeated warnings from police officers about criminal liability for giving a bribe, trying to put the banknote on the dashboard of the car.

A medical examination confirmed ALCOHOL intoxication - about 1 ppm.

Investigators opened a criminal case, the driver was detained. The car was placed in a guarded parking lot.
