According to the
HEAD of the internal affairs department, Igor Shcherbacheni, the measures taken by law enforcement officers ensured the maintenance of public order and security in the region. Thus, the number and proportion of crimes committed in public places, previously convicted, in the state of
ALCOHOL intoxication . Fewer criminal offenses are committed by minors. The suspects have been identified for all intentional murders and attempted murders committed in 2023, causing grievous bodily harm and robbery. Preventive
work was also carried out in close contact with all interested parties , which gave good results. Over the past three years, the number of cases of grievous bodily harm, destruction or damage to property, and theft from cars has been decreasing. Significant work has been done to ensure road safety, which has reduced the number of road accidents, deaths and injuries in them. To eliminate the causes of accidents and improve road infrastructure, more than 200 engineering measures have been implemented. Among the areas that require increased attention are the fight against drug trafficking, fraud in the field of cybercrime, as well as increasing efforts to combat economic crimes, including in the agricultural sector. In the near future, the most important task remains the protection of public order during the election campaign. At the end of the final panel, awards were given to distinguished employees and departments recognized as the best in 2023. Thus, certificates for a company car and memorable souvenirs were presented to representatives of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Bobruisk City Executive Committee, Osipovichi and Cherikovsky District Departments of Internal Affairs. For high results in solving crimes, demonstrated professional initiative and ensuring high labor productivity, the moving honorary prize named after Fyodor Okalita was awarded to the senior detective of the criminal investigation department of the Oktyabrsky District Department of Internal Affairs of Mogilev, Alexey Teplyakov.
