A woman was hit by a train in Gomel

June 18, Gomel. In Gomel, a train injured a 56-year-old woman, the regional executive committee's police department told BELTA.

The incident happened on June 17 at about 10:17 p.m. on Manevich Street. According to preliminary information, a resident of the Vetkovsky district wanted to cross the railway tracks and was waiting for a passenger train to pass. However, being ableunder the influence of ALCOHOL , came too close to the train and got caught.

The victim was taken to the hospital with injuries.
