In the village of Ilyich, Gomel Region, traffic police inspectors noticed a man riding a moped on the sidewalk without a helmet. When talking to him, the road guards found clear signsALCOHOL intoxication . "The offender refused to obey the lawful demands of the officers, tried to escape, and also threatened with a dog. When the inspectors took control of the situation, the man gave someone else's information, but the deception was quickly uncovered," the regional traffic police explained.
As it turned out, the 44-year-old driver had previously been convicted under Article 317-2 of the Criminal Code and deprived of the right to drive vehicles, and had also already been charged with driving without a license, and is wanted for evading the duties of a registered person.
Five administrative protocols were drawn up against the man. The issue of initiating a criminal case in connection with the repeated commission of an act provided for by criminal law is being considered. The moped was taken to a guarded parking lot, and the driver was taken to a temporary detention facility.
