Almost 30 lawless people detained in Vitebsk region over the weekend

April 3, MINSK. Almost 30 drivers who got behind the wheel without a driving license were detained in the Vitebsk region over the weekend. This was reported to a BelTA correspondent by the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee.

In total, 27 accidents with property damage occurred on the roads of the northern region over the weekend, six of them were recorded in Vitebsk itself. Traffic police officers detained 27 people without a license and 7 drivers who were driving while intoxicated.

For traffic violations, 150 pedestrian road users were brought to administrative responsibility, 18 of whom were intoxicated . And 47 people in the dark did not identify themselves as flickers.

The traffic police reminds drivers of the need to choose a safe speed and distance to the vehicles in front. They should also be extremely careful and careful when driving, taking into account weather and road conditions.
